BLACK THUNDER

Black Thunder’s heavy psychedelia has been mutating in subterranean Regina, Saskatchewan since 2009. Drawing upon the musical... instincts of a trio of metal-and-psych-adjacent album hunters, their music builds in the borderlands between the labyrinths of progressive rock guitar riffs, boggy 70s hard psych basslines, and the amphetamine alleyways of proto-glam drumming.

They make their triumphant return with their third release, aptly titled III. If rippin’ riffs are what you are looking for, the power trio has plenty to offer over the course of nine new tracks that dabble in stoner metal, prog, psych, sludge and ‘70s hard rock. Check out smokin’ tracks like Dece Welfare, Ripped Out of Your Face and Space Fives and get lit up.

eak rock guitar goddess from an alternate timeline. The eclectic songwriter, producer, and multi instrumentalist is easy to recognize despite the variety in her work.
